Previous work includes: Hamlet, Northern Ballet Theatre, Dir./Chor. David Nixon, Sadlers Wells and tour; Salome (Associate Designer) Korean National Opera, Dir. Carlos Wagner; The Rakes Progress, Welsh National Opera Max, Dir. David Newman; Camacho’s Wedding, University College London, Dir. Duncan MacFarland; The Medium, and Ten Belles, Sherman Theatre, Cardiff, both with Dir. John La Bouchardiere; Umbilica, Diversions Dance Company, Chor. Tanja Amri.

Prior to retraining in Theatre Design, at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Christopher was also a principal dancer for many years with Northern Ballet Theatre. He has also danced for Scottish Ballet, Ballet du Nord, and the Royal Ballet of Flanders. Christopher was a 2005 Linbury Prize Finalist.

Christopher’s work was exhibited as part of the National Design Exhibition, COLLABORATORS: UK Design for Performance 2003-2007, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2008.
